Jennifer Tilly, born on 16th September, 1958 at Los Angeles under extremely poor circumstances. Her mother was a teacher and failed actor, and her father was a salesman for cars. Jennifer is the youngest of a family of four children she was frequently at her mother's performance in the theater and extremely impressed. Jennifer's parents separated at age five. Jennifer resided in British Columbia for most of her life following the divorce of her mother, along with the others moved there. Jennifer didn't get an excellent education, despite being a gifted child. Her time at Canadian schools resulted in her becoming often the target of bullying. As she entered high school, her enthusiasm for theater began to wane. To combat this, her mother helped to take part as an extra in several plays. She encouraged her whole family to become passionate about the art of making. She then immediately started to act.
